Childrens Art Classes

Teaching beginners to advanced students in all areas of interest to develop a love of art and creativity while laying a strong foundation in visual art. Strong basic drawing and compositional design principles are encouraged as is a love of painting in any medium the child wishes to pursue. Such mediums as pencil sketches, charcoal drawing, pastel, oil painting, acrylic, watercolour or mixed medias are all equally welcome to explore ones creativity.

Adult Art Classes

Art Classes for Adults provides an essential get away from the everyday stress of life while allowing adults to express their creativity in warm and friendly surroundings while making close friends who have similar interests. While art classes are designed to provide a sound grounding in the essential to advanced elements in fine art, all levels of art are provided for from the beginners to the advanced students. Genres such as Portraits(people and animal), Landscape,Seascapes,Figures,Flowers and Fantasy are all covered as the artist shows a willingness to follow this line of learning. Sound skills in drawing,painting in all mediums are offered until the artist decides which medium holds the strongest interest. As the artist progresses further we branch into exploring different styles of art and experiment with how overseas art influences can give our work interesting effects.

Qualifications of Art Teacher

Cynthia Hargraves has been tutoring art classes in Oxenford since 2003. She has a Bachelor Education and Diploma of Teaching and is a Master Pastellist with the Pastel Society of Australia. Cynthia teachers Art workshops both nationally and internationally and has been asked to demonstrate a Portrait Painting in New Mexico,USA in 2009 at the Biennial Convention being held at Albuequerque. Cynthia regularly exhibits her paintings and more information on her events and work can been seen from the artist page.

Art workshops Art workshops both nationally and internationally can be booked by the artist. Cynthia Hargraves teaches in oils, pastels and drawing skills. Art Classes Weekly classes are available. Oils, pastels,drawing,charcoal are covered in all genres. Beginning to advanced students are welcome as are children wanting to learn to draw or paint. Tuition Payment of classes are by term. Classes are small in size so there is plenty of scope for individual attention.
